Shadows
When I think of shadows I think of Peter Pan who asked Wendy to sew his shadow back onto his heels. I have always been fascinated by shadows although I ‘ve never tried to sew them back onto anyone’s person.
this photo was captured outside my hotel room. I noted the sunrise and wanted to capture it–although there were road signs in the way–but then I saw this in a puddle near the side of the road as I was walking over to get my first cup of coffee for the day.
I have not done any photoshopping or alteration of the photo in any way—perhaps I am a snob that way–but taking time to compose and then shoot a picture requires a bit more precision and thoughtfulness up front. I do admire those who can play around in Photoshop but I will confess to being a snob in trying hard to take exactly the photo I want and not one that I can alter later.
