Here you can see the photo I chose and some of my process using an overlay to identify some of the major parts of the piece.
Here is the beginning of the piece. Everything is sewn down and ready for the first machine zig-zag stitching. On the right is a strip-piecing left-overs in a modified basket weave pattern–all from cut-offs and left-overs from other projects.
