Dreaming in photographs


Last Week’s assignment was to make a dreamscape using two copies of the same photo with one slightly blurred, and then pasted on top of each other. The example given was a bunch of tulips tacked up on a wall. I tried this method–a photo of the neighbor’s fence with a large flower garden. THEN I discovered the golden blur distort feature on Photoshop 7. Much easier to fiddle with than making two layers and merging them, plus I could control the amount of blur and glow.

So here is one example–smugmug seems to be down right now–so I’ll post those tomorrow. The second is the original photo and the first is the altered photo.
