Forks
The Assignment for Week Six is ‘Fork’.
Usually I do not look at the work of my fellow students until I have submitted mine. I did take a peek this time–a lot of strange manipulations in photoshop. This certainly can be mesmerizing and a lot of fun and I did try it with a row of plastic forks. I found a planting fork; then had the idea of getting pitchforks or manure forks at the local Tractor Supply–and even a try at American Gothic. In the end I opted for a straight on shot of a bicycle rack near my house. The sun was setting casting golden shadows everywhere and traffic was fairly heavy. The end shot is fairly busy but I like it.
