Sharp as a Tack

This Week’s assignment was to take a photo in which everything was sharp. We were also supposed to use something in photoshop to label our work. I am working with Photoshop elements 7 which is not the latest version. We were also encouraged to use a tripod. I discover that I can have a fairly steady hand if I don’t think much about the shot and just take it–if i think about being steady, then it is wiggly. Someone in the group mentioned it was difficult to focus with bifocals–and not only that but the focusing dial on the camera tends to be right where i put my fingers to hold it—

Still, it has been an enjoyable class and I am learning a few things about my camera. Glen has offered one of his–but I want to learn this one. His is much heavier and I think I would have trouble holding it—maybe for the next assignment I’ll give it a try.

Tomorrow I’ll start posting our photos and my notes from our recent trip to Port st. Joe in Florida panhandle.
