Resurrection Lily
As a newcomer to Texas, I was always surprised by the mysterious appearance of these lovely flowers. They appear on a stalk, last about two weeks, and then disappear until the next year. Their flaming red color make them impossible to miss—and fortunately even the dogs let them alone.
