What’s blooming?

Azaleas are in full bloom as is wisteria and forsythia. And this bush–which reminds me of what my grandmother called Bridal Wreath. I think it was because it bloomed in June in Wisconsin when a lot of weddings took place. This flower is fragrant. I never liked those Bridal Wreath bushes–I supposed I would have liked them better if they had been planted as a hedge instead of three singles along two sides of the house. One bush never did well as it was right where we unloaded the wagon full of firewood into the basement. In our remodeling of the farmhouse, the bushes had to go–and we won’t be throwing down pieces of firewood to stack in the basement for winter.
