Negative Spaces and Pumpkins
One of the Fast Friday Fiber Challenges was to work with negative space. I tried with a photograph of a bin of pumpkins at the Shihata Orchard near my home town in Wisconsin. The background is a linen placemat. The completed piece will be a donation for the local quilt guild.
