Sanderling on the Sea Shore

The Texas SAQA (Studio Art quilt Association) has asked for twelve by twelve inch pieces reflecting Texas.

When I moved to Texas from Georgia, the ocean was a fascinating sight. The waves crash or roll to shore gently with bits of foam. The shell bits are well worn from all the tossing about and the sanderlings run along the water edge hunting for breakfast.

this is my piece, ready for shipping later this week. I discovered that triangles put together on the right triangle papers are not easy using upholstery fabrics.
