Wisconsin Bound
Once a year or more I like to spend some time in Wisconsin. Not only do I have a lot of family still living there, I also have the family farm. The Fourth of July parade in Eastman with the school ground festivities is not to be missed along with the requisite picnics, barbecues, and then the evening fireworks.Unfortunately, the parade was canceled due to the rerouting of some major highways due to mudslides.
Our trip was uneventful with our first stop on an access road for a lunch of sandwiches and fruit. We stayed overnight at a Best Western–somewhere in Missouri, I think and arrived at my friend’s farm late Friday night.
Chicory and Queen Anne’s Lace always make me think that I am home once again and there was an abundant supply from Missouri onward.
If you are wondering about the size of the photos, I am still learning how to work with WordPress and a slow internet connection.
