Have a Seat
Quite a few years ago, a good friend was transferred to a distant city and so I ended up with her old breakfast room table and chairs. The chair seats were covered in olive green vinyl that has begun to crack and tear with age. Recovering those seats was not a difficult project but required the use of both Phillips and flat screwdrivers to remove the seat cushion—I think some of the original screws had been lost. Putting a new piece of nice cushy foam and covering it with a fabric with vinyl coating really didn’t take long thanks to my Stanley stapler. Now for a paycheck to buy the remaining pieces of foam and to finish up the project.
